CNY shutdown

The great thing of going back to my hometown is that……………….. i sooo not doing anything other that being a m-a-z-y d-o-n-k-e-y (mazy is actually L*** you figure that out, and donkey is my cubicle mascot).

Since this is my hometown, i have no idea to where to go and stuck at home. waiting for breakfast, lunch and dinner being cook and serve. else i am starving here and soo not sure where to eat. like yesterday when i opted not to go to kenduri with my family, i ended starving at home …..

street smart? yeah i only know how to get to larkin, angsana & austin perdana (my sis’s house)….other than that? hace no idea….

friends? only have a few while others migrated to other town

the great thing about hometown is that i meet my family &…afterall this is home-sweet-home and you can lay down and sleep and do whatever lazy things u want to do…

i guess……i miss cleveland & penang?

Alhamdulillah I have been able to login to health website to claim for my $90 optical benefit….
One more thing, I just hate website that have broken link esp if it’s a IPTA website…..UTM have few broken links for Mecha & Biomed faculties. Unikl_MSI doesnt work at all…wattttt

and today I was exploring of using myeg.com.my, a website to pay roadtax online! But somehow we also need to buy insurance from them or we must have insrance ready. and only etiqa takaful is listed, that mean i cannot use my Takaful Malaysia
I emailed them and got replied, next thing i know, someone called me and i asked him directly. end of day he sent me the quotation of 1k+ whattttt….i repplied his email saying that i want the value to be 30k and ncd shud be 30% not 25%..cekik darahhh…..i am expecting 700$ only

back to today story, soon-to-be-prof F called me but I have fallen to deep sleep. So i called him back end of day….the topic? he wants to recommend me with someone, and I laugh all the way and told him I am taken. I tot he need help on some edu-related thing like thesis-topic (owh I just love to help googling & searching for things like this). He asked me list of good-U for his phd. He probably will be pursuing a few years from now. I suggested him Michigan, PSU,Georgia Tech, Purdue, Mizzu & Berkeley! wow..what a top-tier U…his newborn baby is expected to be-d on April!

On Wed before taking bus to JB, i had dinner with Qadar & heity. we met at USM Mosque after maghrib..and we went to Pdg Kota….had pasembor , 3 plates of car kiew tiau kerang, cendol, lai chi kang and abc…

Hiking, Breakfast & JIM

Alhamdulillah…Saturday was spent with Hiking early in the morning with Yusni, Pitman, Adlan & Azrul (He was coming late). Then we off to Tun Sardon as always for breakfast.  I have nasik lemak with telur goreng – unfortunately there’s no sambal kerang my fav.

I took a nap – actually i cant event close my eyes…haha then lazy-ly took a shower, solat and went to Seri Mesia for JIM program – Women in the eyes of God…

I didnt bring any note pad and now i forgot what is the main points ..haha…

Qadar & Heity Wedding

Alhamdulillah praise to Allah, Qadar & Heity are now husband & wife. And most of all the wedding day berjalan lancar..Here is some summary

Road Trip With Myvi – Kerm drove me to jetty at about 745pm and we reached there 820pm. I waited nearly 45 min for Butterworth ferry to meet Qadar at Feri terminal..hampeh btol. Met Dr Halim, he was on his way to catch a train to KL. and his train ticket was at 9pm. I hope he’s able to catch his train. We were late by 30min.. we reached ipoh at 11am to pickup Umul and her friend – Nadirah. then off to KL Sentral to pick Bilal pulak. Alhamdulillah, I exited at Jln Duta and found KL Sentral. Then we used Jln to seremban..I drove all the way from Ipoh to Ayer Keroh. Then Bilal drove the remaining km. Got one unfortunate event when our petrol tank was empty and it was raining heavily. Bilal called PLUS and in 30 min, he returned with a bottle of petrol, enough for us to drive to Skudai and find a petrol station..Next time always alert with your petrol tank OK? We reached home before azan subuh..pelamin already setup and also khemah di luar…nenek pon ada

Rewang – rewang started early in the morning. Tolong2 Pak Wok angkut itu ini, and kemas kan sikit brg..basuh2 ayam and also daging…after solat makcik2 rewang tiba utk potong2 bawang2 and etc..sambung tolong pak wok..food haritu ialah rebung masak lemak, then ptg laksa….malam pulak asam pedas….Family Heity tiba waktu maghrib..so habes la lauk pauk ptg tu…

.malam tu plak cik azah, and all girls tolong buat bunga manggar etc…Tok Unus and Nek Biah and families tiba….so malam tu tido jam 1am..I pickup CIk Sah and Cik tah at 3am, Then mak ngah pulak lps subuh…Bapak pulak pickup Akim and kwn2 Heity kat bas stand..early in the morning, meja VVIP dah pon siap..xtau sapa siapkan..bangun2 subuh dah siap..haha…then all morning, they continue bungkus itu ini..and masak2…

Akad Nikah – alhamdulillah before akad, everything dah clear up….khemah2 semua dah ready. food for breakfast pon. ready….we have roti jala with kari and nasi goreng….Mak Ndak, Mak Teh and Pak Tam arrived..part yg best sbb imam tu baca khutbah, and both pengatin and parents kene baca text ucapan..mcm2…leceh gak la kan..haha…but there’s jokes made by imam..hahah….make the event more memorable

Bersanding – part ni yg leceh sbb pengantin ready at 3pm..suppose at 200pm..so semua org waiting for pengantin..next time….buat kol 12noon or earlier…so far tetamu x seramai akak nye kenduri..maybe sbb mak jemput x ramai……budak2 penganggah pon rajin2 so senang la kan…..akak and abgpis tiba before akad nikah….List yg dtg

Welcome to Kapitan

Owh..no wonder planner comment in fs sounds pelik plak….who’s coming on Thursday? I dont think Pakcik se-family are coming to Penang. meredah kesesakan brigde plak tu kan…

I received sms asking me if i am free on Thursday, and i said i have no importance program on that day….other than food yg best di surau Pekaka….and she told me that they are coming….HA?

dah terfikir2 what restaurant to eat.. I never eat bukak pose at restaurant….I asked around and Kapitan wins…plus i am sure pakcik, makcik & little spy would like to taste beriyani kapitan that make planner eat sampai menilat jari..

Man told me that i need to book in advance, else i have to wait. So Thurs lunch hr i drove to Kapitan and make reservation. On the afternoon, Kapitan called me to confirmed and get order. I called my fiance to take order – 3 ayam and 2 kambing..

ptg tu plak..spt biasa…menggelabah dgn shutdown activities, and meetings…time2 mcm ni la nak meeting..dahle abes jam 6pm…..jem teruk as always kat Kristal Pt roundabout…so tibe rumah dah 645pm before bergegas mandi and gerak ke Qbay…it not too far actually, naik beskal pon dlm 30min……but somehow jem teruk kat roundabout. Arrive at kapitan at 710pm and called tetamu…….nasib baik kapitan is just opposite Qbay….so sempat duduk ..makanan and minuman dah terhidang..nyum2…

then lps abes solat maghrib kat Qbay,.,,

Writing

I hate formal writing. and still having problem to link all my ideas and choose a right vocabulary. my essay lack of charm and not so interesting to read. I still remember when i was in standard-6, i wrote a ‘Mati Lemas’ essay for BM exam. and the essay got a low mark & my teacher scold me. Then we i was in high-school, i still have trouble both in BM & english. i do read BM novels and few selections of english novels but yet my essay writing still very bad.

For SPM, i deseperately need to score A. i memorize a few points from a few essays and use that as my baseline for all my essays. I use the same points in a few exams & also in SPM. and the result? couldnt believe i can get A2..haha…

I was so luckly to be in PPP where i was taught how to write a good essay. and as usual, my lecturer will always call me to discuss on how bad is my essay ..it’s hard to write an essay. what shall i do? what is the best way? i read a lot but i am not good at capturing the points & reuse it in my writing.

What happen last seasons?

Assalamulaykum readers,

and YES, I joined Writers Strike! (pls google this word if u are confuse what I mean)..whooa whoaa wiii that is why you are not seeing me writing something these few years. Couldn’t remember when was the last time I wrote about my life.

What motivate me? I read a few blogs occasionally, and being jelous of people who really good at writing (either in Malay or English). Now I am back, and in this blog, I will share with u my life as a factory worker engineer/executive, Poem  short cerpen (I miss my ol’ days), GBS & JIM activites (might as well refer to usrah-gbs.blogspot.com), CASE & SAMURA activites. byk ni bole ke?

And for the first entry, let revisit back what happen to me in the past year(s).

Work Life: Yes, it’s  pressure, boring, and lazy-mazy life. I still think college life is more fun! Still being around in the campus despite everyday complaining & deciding to resign and find a better work life. Guess what? End of Dec I will be celebrating my 3rd anniversary. Wow! I couldnt believe myself either. And lately people are resigning in my deparment. 8 people resigned (or will) this month. I am still searching internal jobs and open career page almost everyday! Am I pathethic or silly? I somewhat miss technical stuffs – and yes now I regret of not working soo hard during college years. When i was in college, I know in future I will have this regret . And now my azam is……further MSc and ensure I get a better score+experience.Wow… I am still a pekerja kilang, and now taking care various of portfolio. And my job is less technical and more towards business studies.. hahha…If take Operation Mgmt courses from School of Business, you understand what I mean here. And these 2 quarters, I have less meetings & presentation. But next quarter, I can expect more meetings, and I have to start meeting with few managers & senior engineers. And next  year will be my YEAR, if i hit it it will be a major success…else….and YES I am still searching what is the best career & career path for me.

Family Life: my sister got married on Aug 2006 and now she has cute & playful daugther – Naurah Syamil bt Amirul Hafiz. And Naurah is soo cute, she has her father’s face exp for her nose (pesek mcm jawa). Her hair is curly like her father too compare to us (long black hair). Now she is one year old, and like to talk around our house. Her milk bottle is shorter that us when we were kids. Still remember all 5 of us have botol panjang and always ask atok to refill.She can only say two words as of now – Papa & Bukak….And this upcoming Oct, my youngest brother will be getting married! Langkah 3 bendul! And me? hahaha….I am not telling u my personal secret life as usual :p

Penang Life: I am lucky enought to meet GBS & JIM-TL, atleast i meet new people & have something to do over the weekends.Although sometimes I am lazy to join their activities …hehe It make me feel more like Cleveland days….
